Metal Dome & Metal Snap Dome --- F Series

Metal dome, made of stainless steel, is a part used in important switches, which can give an accurate tactual signal to electronic devices when it is pressed, of many electronic products such as electronic dictionaries, wireless sets, and various electronic devices including machineries, game sets and electronic educational materials, etc.

Metal dome contacts on the sheet are positioned over the contact point of PCBs. When a dome is pressed, the center of it contacts to the PCB and let the electric current flow through. This is how metal dome sheets work.
Our production technique enables stable forces of domes, excellent tactile feel even after rigorous overload tests, control of dimensional tolerances, no burrs, thus reducing wear on the substrate, successful and reliable automatic placement with equipment, which enables high production capacity. The Cross Dome Family (No Dimple) is designed specifically for mounting on P.C boards & membranes where traces can be fed under the domes. They are placed on a P.C board by adhesive tape.
