Germanium
Named after its homeland by the inventor, German chemist Clemens Winkler, Germanium as an element was identified in 1886. The existence of an element with Germanium's atomic structure was actually predicted by the Russian chemist Mendeleev, who left a space in his periodic table for an element which he named 'ekasilicon'. Winkler isolated this element during an analysis of the ore argyrodite, a silver mineral, from the Himmelsfurst mine, St. Michaelis near Freiburg in Saxony and named it Germanium after his homeland. Germanium belongs to family four of the periodic table, along with carbon, silicon, tin and lead, and is usually classified as a semi-metal, or said to have semiconductor properties.
Physical state: like a protruding mirror emitting much radiating heat, improve blood circulation, achieve good moxibustion effect. The thumb-like germanium stones exert good figure pressure and emits natural luster; under 1350 high temperature baked for 48 hours, followed by cooling down, resulting in a lustrous crystal;
Efficacies: over 92% of its radiation belongs to the beneficial far infrared, with wavelength between 8~12micrometer, this wavelength and frequency are best suitable to be absorbed by human body, penetrate deep into the tissue, absorb and disassociate the toxic matters and heavy metals residing in the tissues, achieve the detoxification effects, in addition, the absorbed far infrared resonates with the cells, resulting in thermogenesis. Briefly, germanium has following beneficial effects:
Health Effects
1. Promote Blood Circulation. Warm Spectrum BioMat can facilitate dilation of blood vessels, accerelate blood circulation, strengthen hemapoietic function(blood cell generation), resulting in stronger tissue functioning and more vigorous lives.
2. Eliminate Tiredness and Enhance Sleep Quality. Warm Spectrum BioMat modifies the local magnetic-electro process, create electron transfer, regulate central nervous system a
