Glycerol ester of gum rosin are made from gum rosin or refined gum rosin through esterification with glycerol; And with the properties of high viscosity, excellent hear and aging stability, excellent polymer compatibility etc. It is a good tackifying resin. Soluble in tar, ester, turpentine oil and similar solvents; Insoluble in alcoholic solvents; Partially soluble in petroleum products; Mix well with vegetable oils; Light colored; Resistant to yellowing; Heat resistant; Highly adhesive. Soluble in ester solvent, petroleum products and turpentine, insoluble in alcoholic solvents. It can help to improve the initial and persistent viscosity of EVA heat melt adhesive and has good cold resistance ability. Light color, resistant to be yellow, high adhesive. It has the proper of water-resistance, durability and brightness, which is suitable to the industry of adhesive, paint ink, stencil and electronic applications, etc. And for ester glue phenolic resin paints (through polymerization with vegetable oils); Widely used in glue industry as low cost enhancer for hot-melt, pressure-sensitive and other types of adhesives.
