This is a BRAND NEW E-POD System 2000 electric propulsion system. It is designed primarily for sailboats or semi displacement boats (not planing hulls). Can be adapted to a pontoon boat or other boats where clean, quiet, comfortable propulsion is needed. Runs on 24, 36 or 48 volts DC. It comes standard with regenerative charging (re-charging while under sail). Other options are available. Comes complete with a four bladed, composite prop (ProPulse 12-16"x10" diameter), helm control, motor controller, and wiring. You just add the batteries. Four 12 volt deep cycle batteries will propel most boats for 4-8 hours depending on conditions. Eight, 6 volt batteries will last even longer. This system is equal in performance to a 8-10 hp outboard motor. With the addition of a battery charger you can just plug it in at the dock or on a trailer boat, at home. NO MORE GAS ON YOUR BOAT! NO NOISE! NO POLLUTION! NO HIGH GAS PRICES!
