The installation procedure for D2Pro is significantly faster then previous 28 or 18 wire chips, and the level of difficulty has also been reduced as only 3 wires need to go on to legs on controller IC, for those capable of installing the 28 wire chips, you will find install times for the D2Pro to be reduced dramatically to around 30% of the time it would take for the 28 wire chips or even less. As some of us all know, a reduction in wires on a chip can sometimes be a bad thing, especially before the teams have really sorted out their code.
