The cutting elements are chisel type or truncated TC bits, ideal for soil, sandy soil, dense sand with little clay and bouldery formation with small particle sizes. Structurally, they can be divided into singe-head-single-helix, dual-head single-helix and dual-head dual helix. The single head provides easy removal of spoils and less rotary drag, suitable for drilling bouldery formation and well cemented clay. The dual head provides high cuttings- carrying capacity, good verticality, and suitable for loose or alternate formation.
Diameter of bit: 400 to 2000 mm
