With regard to antimicrobial (processed) products and agents that meet the guidelines specified by SIAA, this SIAA certification mark can be displayed for only those cases in which antimicrobial assurance is conducted inder the supervision of a person in charge who completed training requirements of the concerned Association, with self-accountability of the member company. The SIAA mark denotes double meanings : the Self-assurance Manifesting Mark that is undertaken by a member company's self accountability in conformity with the Association's guidelines and also the Quality and Safety Information Display Mark that indicates the disclosing of quality and safety Information. The use of the SIAA mark is strictly prohibited by non-members, and regarding the practices for labeling rules, stringent market surveillance is performed, accrrding to the Association's self-management.
