Motor spindles for drilling, milling, grinding and engraving machines

The motor spindles of PMV company for powers up to 250W comprise a wide family (partly in production, partly in waiting position) of precise modular machines, developed step by step using the same basic patents world-wide and experience of last 10 years, consisting of 2 different spindles of diameter 19 and 32um, different Maxon motors, and a gear module for increasing the speed of spindle, combined with collet chuck for clamping tools, including drive shaft operationally connected to motor and secure rapid tool change mechanism completed by different activating devices as lever, axial screw mechanism for manual operation, pneumatic and motor-driven tool change.
The motor spindles are built for tools diameter of 3mm. Regarding activating devices they are realized in two different forms; radial and axial. Both constructions also enable automatic tool change.
PMV motor spindles are mostly used for drilling, milling, grinding and engraving machines but not at least for precise manual tooling too.

From technical data some most typical and important values:
- Max. no-load speed: up to 60.000 rpm
- Rotational accuracy: <0,005mm
- Pool-off force: 250 N...500N (depends on type)
