Description:
The 2205 Duplex Stainless Steel has a yield strength that is more than double that of conventional austenitic stainless steels. This feature allows designers to reduce weight while designing the product, making this alloy more cost-effective than 316,317L. This alloy is particularly suitable for use in the -50°F/+600°F temperature range. Applications beyond this temperature range may also consider such alloys, but there are some limitations, especially when applied to welded structures.
