1,Product Description
Curcumin is a yellow pigment obtained from the rhizomes of turmeric. Its principal component is curcumins. It is soluble in ethanol but insoluble in water. It exhibits a yellow shade at acidic and neutral pH and a reddish-brown at alkaline pH. Stable to heat but sensitive to light.
2,Quality Control
95% powder with heavy metal, solvents residue, pesticide residue microorganism meet USP/EP/CP standards.

3,Characteristic:
◆Yellow to Red crystalline powder, soluble in ethanol and glacial acetic acid,but insoluble in water and diethyl ether
◆It exhibits a yellow shade at acidic and neutral pH and a reddish-brown at alkaline pH, PH 7.8(yellow)~9.2(red brown)
◆Good stable to reducing agent, good staining(especially for protein)
◆Stable to heat but sensitive to light and iron ion

4,Application:
A food additive used for coloring food, beverage, alcoholic drinks, pastry, jelly, and snacks. It also used for medical, animal feed and textile dyeing
