GMT (Glass Mat reinforced Thermoplastics) is a glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite material, which is made of glass fiber as a reinforcing material and a thermoplastic resin as a matrix. It is a composite material made by heating and pressing. This material is currently very active in the world. The composite material development variety is known as “the green material and the most prospective development new materials of the 21st century” and is widely used in many industries such as construction, chemical, electronics, automobile, shipbuilding and so on. GMT pallet for its rigidity, toughness, and recyclable characteristic. It is solid as reinforced concrete.

GMT pallet is good rigidity, high impact resistance, wear –resistant, anti-corrosion, waterproof and rustproof, moisture resistant, heat-resistant, low temperature resistant, no crack, non-bend, no deformation, light weight, recyclable, economical, Low cost, low damage rate, size customized, long service life time of over 8-10 years. 2-3times longer than bamboo and wooden pallet.

High cost-effective of GMT pallet. Annual breakage rate : Bamboo plywood is about 50%,PVC pallet is about 15%,GMT pallet less than 1%. Size 850*680 pallet for example, 2000 plates to calculate : the annual cost =the number of pallets*unit price*the annual breakage rate Bamboo Plywood annual cost=2000pcs*USD6*50%=USD6,000; PVC pallet annual cost= 2000pcs*USD10*15%=USD3,000; GMT pallet annual cost= 2000pcs*USD11*1%=USD220;
