Estane 58219 is a Polyether-type thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) compound.
Features: Excellent physical properties, hydrolysis resistance, low temperature performance and clarity. Wide processing window for extrusion.
Uses: Blown and flat die/cast film extrusion, Injection and blow molding.

Estane 58300 is a Polyether-type thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) compound.
Features: Good physical properties, hydrolysis resistance, low temperature performance and abrasion with a wide processing window for extrusion.
Uses: Blown and flat die/cast film extrusion, Injection molding and cable jacketing.

Estane 58309 is a Polyether-type thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) compound.
Features: Good Physical Properties and Reduced Surface Tack.
Uses: Flat Die/Cast Film and Blown Film Extrusion, Injection Molding

Estane 58315 is a Polyether-type thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) compound.
Features: Very good physical properties, hydrolysis resistance, low temperature performance and abrasion. Wide processing window for extrusion.

The Estane TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) product line consists of polyester, polyether and specialty adhesive compounds. The Estane TPU portfolio bridges the gap between flexible rubber and rigid plastics.

Lubrizol Estane TPUs are a wide range of linear thermoplastic polyurethane elastomers (TPUs), which have been specially developed for use as raw materials in the manufacture of solvent-based adhesives for the automotive, furniture, footwear, and other industries.

Estane TPUs are mainly crystalline polymers. Their structure is characterized by a small proportion of hard segments, in comparison with their content in soft segments. It is their polyol component (the part traditionally known as the soft segment or amorphous part) that crystallises and imparts them such crystalline characteristics. The resulting polymers show outstandingly high tenacity and stress-strain power.

These TPUs have another interesting feature: a low melting point in their crystalline zones (50-60ºC), which permits the polymer to be softened or melted at relatively low temperatures for the adhesion process, with sufficient thermoplasticity and surface tack to ensure correct union between substrates of different materials.
