Intended Use

This kit is used to qualitatively detect the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) nucleocapsid protein antigen in human

nasopharyngeal swab, oropharyngeal swab, nasal swab, and saliva samples in vitro.In the acute phase of infection, antigens are usually detectable in upper respiratory tract specimens. The rapid diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 infection will help medical professionals treat patients and control the disease more effectively.

Testing Procedure

1. Before testing, equilibrate the extraction tube that contains sample extraction buffer to room temperature. Insert the test extraction tube into the work station. Make sure that the tube is standing firm and reaches the bottom of the work station.

2. Tear off the aluminum foil paper of the extraction tube that contains sample extraction buffer. Insert the collected swab samples into the extraction tube.

3. Roll the swab at least 6 times while pressing the head against the bottom and side of the extraction tube.

4. Leave the swab in the extraction tube for 1 minute.

5. Squeeze the tube several times with fingers from outside of thetube to immerse the swab. Remove the swab. The extracted solution will be used as test sample. Cover the extraction tube with the dropper tip tightly.

6. Allow the detection card, test sample to equilibrate to room temperature prior to testing. Remove the detection card from the pouch just prior to the testing and place it on a clean and level surface and mark the detection card with specimens’number.

7. Reverse the sample extraction tube, and add 80 μL (about 4 drops) of test sample by squeezing the extracted solution tube into the sample window.

8. Wait for the colored band(s) to appear. The result should be read in 15 minutes. After observing and recording the results, please discard the test card so as not to confuse the judgment of the result. If you need to store it for a long time, please take a photo of the result. Specimen extraction solution type: The sample extraction bufferprovided by the manufacturer should be used.
