OKE is able to stably produce cemented carbide tool products with complex structures such as ultra-fine and low-cobalt, ultra-fine and ultra-thin, and functional gradients etc. .The PVD coated inserts for stainless steel processing and CVD coated inserts for steel processing independently developed by OKE have reached the international advanced level and can replaceimported products.

OKE always adheres to the R&D concept of 'close to the market for improvement and lead the market for research and development', and formed a technical R&D team composed of chief technical experts, R&D engineers, new product realization echnologists, and expert consultants. At the same time, OKE has carried out in-depth industry-university-research cooperation with many universities such as Central South University, Sichuan University etc.. By the end of 2020, OKE has obtained 84 authorized domestic patents, include 11 invention patents, 49 practical patents, 24 appearance patents.
