Drop forged conveyor chains are widely used in bulk material handling of products such as grain, coal and ash.Also known as drop forged scraper chains they are typically fitted with flights or special attachments.The chain links themselves are forged from specially selected alloy steel and then precision machined to close tolerances.Drop forged conveyor chain transmits motive power through chain conveyors,in monoveyors, overhead power & free, or inverted power & free conveyors; the chain also holds power trolleys.

Drop forged conveyor chain is available in 4 sizes; x-348, x-458, x-678, and x-698. Conveyor chain is made from carbon, alloy and microtuff-15 steel. conveyor chain is forged for strength and heat treated for increased wear resistance.Conveyor chain is assembled using side links, center links and chain pins, no tools are needed for assembly and parts can be changed with out special tools.
