KY-ES Shielding Heat shrink tubing is compounded of heat shrink polyolefin heat shrink tubing and shrinkable flexible conducting layer. There is a layer of metal powder inside.When heating the polyolefin heat shrink tuibng, the conducting layer will shrink at the same time. It’s widely used for cable and connector terminal to provide efficient EMI/FRI shielding. This shielding heat shrink tubing is lighter than the traditional metal braided shielding sleeving and easy to install. Shielding effeciency can be up to 35dB~70dB in 14KHz~10GHz frequency.

Feature & benefit

1, High shielding effectiveness, have quite wide shielding frequency,It can significantly reduce the impact of EMI/RFI on signal transmission, improve signal quality and system reliability. can work in 14kHz-10GHz and meet the stringent requirement. The shielding effectiveness can be up to 50 dB, it’s higher than the general shielding cable.

2, Light weight compared with the general anti-wave sleeve, Using the shielding heat shrink tubing can make the weight decrease more than 35%, especially if using the small diameter size, the weight will reduce more than 60%.

3,Excellent physical properties：It has high abrasion resistance and chemical resistance, which can protect cables from physical damage such as scratches and cuts.

4,Good flexibility, the shielding layer is high polymer material, can be bended at random, can’t affect the shielding layer.

5,Water - proof and moisture - proof：Some types of electromagnetic shielding heat - shrinkable tubes have waterproof and moisture - proof functions, which can maintain good electrical performance in humid environments.

6, Easy to use, it’s quite convenient and quick to heat-shrink by using heat gun.
