Epichlorohydrin is an organic compound with chemical formula C3H5ClO. It is a colorless liquid organic compound with a smell similar to chloroform. It is an important raw material and intermediate in organic synthesis. Can be used in the production of epoxy resin and used as epoxy resin diluent. Also used in the manufacture of glycerin, nitroglycerin explosives, glass fiber reinforced plastics, glyceryl methacrylate, chlorinated alcohol rubber, glycidyl derivatives, surfactants, electrical insulation products. Or manufacturing a variety of adhesives, medicine, pesticides, plasticizers and ion exchange resin and other products commonly used raw materials. As a solvent for adhesives, coatings, paints, rubber, resins, cellulose esters and cellulose ether, etc.
