Ferro boron is an alloy made from boron and iron which is used to metallurgical industry as additive for boron.Ferroboron can improve steel's quenching degree and mechanical behavior obviously.In high-quality alloy steel boron takes the place of chromium,molybdenum and nickel,and doesn't effect the mechanical behavior.Cast iron added 0.05 per cent boron can improve its wear resistance.Ferroboron can also be one of the raw materials of neodymium ferroboron permanent magnetism material.
