IACS(International Association of Classification Societies) and other societies prescribe that only approved fire-resistant types can be installed on certain applications (refer to TECHNOLOGY - Application Range)
FRC is to wrap around couplings and make them resistant to fire of 800±50℃ for 30 minutes or longer.
