Sunrise Power Co., Ltd (Sunrise Power) is a leader in the research & development, manufacture, sale and servicing of clean energy hydrogen fuel cells in China.

Sunrise Power was established in 2001, SAIC and DICP are our main shareholders. Headquartered in Dalian, we have about 150 employees here. Sunrise Power undertook the constructing of National Engineering Research Center of Fuel Cell& Hydrogen Technology since 2006, and the center was built and come into service in July of 2008.

Ever since the founding, Sunrise Power is devoting to the research, development, manufacture and application of PEM Fuel Cell. Our technologies originate from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Science, and the main founder of fuel cell technologies is Mr. Yi Baolian, the Academician of Chinese Academy Engineering, who have researched fuel cells for 40 years. Based on these technologies, Sunrise Power's R&D covers key materials, core components, stacks and systems of fuel cell. We have a creative and efficient R&D team which consists of members of Ph. D, Masters and fuel cell experts. We own the patented technologies with proprietary intellectual property rights. Up to now, we have 202 patents, 98 patents have been authorized, including 158 patents of invention and with 64 authorized one.

Sunrise Power has engaged in the State 863 Key Research Programs since 2001, and has achieved remarkable results. At present, each performance index of our fuel cell cars is in the first level in China. We also provided 11 sets of fuel cell systems for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and Beijing 2008 Paralympics Games. The cars and bus which carry our fuel cell systems have run for 100 thousand kilometers without faults. For the safe and trouble-free operation in the demonstration, the officers of the Olympic Games and the Paralympics Games and the visitors give us praise.

Our goal is to realize the industrialization of fuel cell.
