The newly developed disk coupling is engineered with an optimized design based on various simulations, featuring a structure that maximizes the flexible area of the suspension plate. By increasing the number of support holes, stress concentration around the bolts is reduced, and flexibility of the suspension plate is enhanced—realizing an ideal servo system.
Each component is meticulously designed to extend the disk's lifespan, including assembling the disk plates into a bushing package. The outer diameter of the bushing is larger than the diameter of the hole, and the edges are rounded to ensure durability against bending caused by eccentricity, angular misalignment, or end play. Additionally, combining multiple suspension plates into a bushing package not only enables high-precision assembly but also protects the disk from deformation under various load conditions.

Sung Il's disk couplings are precisely manufactured with concentricity measured and adjusted at every stage, ensuring perfect concentric alignment between both sides of the coupling holes.
The Taper Clamp type completely resolves balancing issues that may occur with traditional fastening methods. The outer surface of the coupling is machined to prevent rotation of the product with the bolt during fastening of small holes, allowing for more convenient assembly.
