Liquid Polyisoprene rubber (LIR-5603)

Product introduction

LIR-5603 is a low molecular weight with main component cis 1,4-polyisoprene.The molecular weight of LIR-5603 is designed between solid rubber and plasticizer,with both characteristics of solid rubbers and plasticizer,so it has plasticizing effect and vulcanisability with solid rubbers,it’s a reactive plasticizer,with slightly yellow color ,transparent and almost entirely odorless with low VOC.

Product Characteristics

Slightly odor,maintain high viscosity at low temperatures, not easy to degrade at high temperatures (degradation temperature >180℃),non-flammable, water and acetone resistant, with a high initial adhesion in adhesive application and maintain the normal physical properties no change, low surface tension and low polarity, it can be used in a wide range of temperature with low Tg helpful, less irritating to human body compared with acrylic PSA,widely use to synthetic rubber type sealants and adhesives as a main component or auxiliary material,especially well sealing on the surface bonded.

Typical Application

Plasticizer are one of the key components of the rubber and adhesive industry. LIR-5603 commonly used in adhesive application such as pressure sensitive adhesives and hot melts, rubber type adhesives or sealants for automotive industry, tape adhesive,code-resisting adhesive and other industrial solvent type adhesive ect.

Packed in steel drums, net weight 15kg/175kg Drum; or packed in EVA bags, net weight 2KG/Bag in paper carton. Shelf life 24 months in original packing container.
