Thermoplastic Splint Sheet mostly use in orthopedics center and orthopedics hospital for external fixation as well as Occupational Therapy, which will become transparent when complete soften in 65 degree hot water, can be stretched during operation, with adhesive and memorial feature, able to repeat mould and operate, well ventilated.

All our raw materials are import from Europe and our products are listed with ISO13485 & CE.

Operation steps:
1. Measure dimensions of limbs and trunk to be fixed, design and cut splint.
2. Place cut board in hot water of 60-70 degree and make it entirely transparent and intenerated, then take it out.
3. Place entirely transparent and intenerated cut splint at the position of fixation and have direct plastotype, which will be completely shaped after 10 to 15 mins.
In case that indoor temperature is too high and shaping time is too long, it is possible to use cold water or cold compress method to have forcible cooling, hardening and shaping.
4. After shaping, fix it with nylon sticky ribbon or bandage and fix it in pipe type, press interfaced part of the splint and make it automatically stick up, or cut it into edge seam of 1.0 to 1.5cm and then fix it with nylon sticky ribbon or bandage, fixation with nylon sticky ribbon or bandage is beneficial to adjustment of elasticity of external fixation and removal of fixation splint.
5. In case that local fixation is unsatisfactory, it is possible to heat it locally with sirocco gun and have plastotype until satisfactory.
