10/100Base-TX to 100Base-FX Media Converter MR-101S20
Overview
The MR-101S20 Ethernet media converters are designed to transmit and receive 10/100Mbps data over multimode or single mode optical fiber. The electrical interface will Auto-Negotiate to a 10Mbps, or 100Mbps Ethernet rate without any adjustments. The optical interface operates at a 100Mbps Ethernet rate. LED indicators are provided for rapidly ascertaining equipment operating status.
The MR-101S20 is manufactured with the latest IC packages from the USA or Taiwan and a high-quality fiber optical transceiver, which provides a good electrical characteristic to ensure reliable data transmission and long working life. 6 Group LED indicated lights could fully monitor the working conditions of Media Converters. It is easy for end-users to observe network operations. This media converter provides external power as default, it can be as a stand-alone unit or inserted into 14-slot Media Converter Rack Mount Chassis
that allows all the media converters to be powered by a single internal power supply.
