Musical fountain is a type of animated fountain for entertainment purposes that creates an aesthetic design and sometimes a three-dimensional image. This is done by using the effects of sound waves and light or laser against water particles, in which the water streams, activated in strategically-timed durations, refract and reflect the light, and in doing so, a three-dimensional image is created.

A floating music fountain should not only include the necessary elements of normal music fountain, but also be built with well-designed floating equipment. The floating system should be built on the basis of :

1. Precise calculation: Various forces, including reactional force, equipment weight and so should be taken into consideration.

2. Convenient use: The floating system should be easy to use and is not supposed to disturb with waters scenery. Sometimes, the floating system are to be lifted and lowered according to the actual needs.

3. Convenient Maintenance: Maintenance is to be taken into consideration when the floating system is designed.

Music Fountain Parameters:

1. Visibility: City-square type is usually covered with grids and not visible, while the normal fountains are visible to the audience;

2. Suitable Water Depth: City Square music fountain is for waters under 100cm, Water Depth for normal Fountains can be up 1.5 meters and floating music fontain is goods for water depth more than 2 meters;
