Caprylyl glycol derived from a caprylic acid(component of mainly coconut oil), it play a role as preservatives booster in all kind, surfactant, moisturizer, humectant. Also it can be used for preservative instead of Paraben, In terms of preservatives efficacy, Caprylyl glycol is effective against bacteria, mainly serving as antimicrobial effect with other ingredient. It is used in surfactant, preservative in Bath product, cosmetic moisturizer, also great compatible with water, can play a role as emulsion stabilizer, have smoothing effect in cosmetics. Especially, it’s known for being effective with other ingredient such as Honey, Aloe, Hyaluronic acid. But, it’s really susceptible with temperature, solid at low temperature, it may cause high management in terms of storage. B&B is producing high purity(99%)-Caprylyl glycol through processing and refining facilities. It is a widely used cosmetic ingredient with multifunctional properties and is EWG green grade and first grade ingredient
