Adding PTFE micropower in the coating can get many kinds of special high performance coatings to meet the coating industrial needs of the industrial development (the add content of the powder usually about 5‰—3%). The main function is to improve the coating viscosity and lubricity, reduce friction coefficient, improve wear resistance and corrosion resistance, reduce moisture absorption, improve paint spray casting performance, increase the critical film thickness and improve the thermoforming properties. In marine anti-fouling coatings the content of PTFE powder is 30%, which can effectively prevent the mollusks attaching at the bottom. PTFE powder can be added in polyimide, polyether sulfone and polyphenylene sulfide etc. After baking in high temperature, they still show excellent resistance to viscosity, and can be used in the continuous high temperature. Their performance does not occur to change. As anti-sticking coating it can be used in food and packaging industries and can be used for household appliances, drinking utensils, anti-chemical corrosion of metal parts, automotive and electronic parts superior.
