Product Description

Rutin, a natural citrus bioflavonoid, is extracted from the dry buds of sophora japonical.
Rutin is a tasteless, yellow or greenish-yellow crystalline powder that becomes plastic when heated between 185°C and 192°C and discomposed at 215°C.
Rutin is practically insoluble in water while soluble in methanol and ethanol. It is a naturally occurring pigment.
Rutin is classified as vitamin p which increases the strength of the walls of the blood capillaries and regulates theirpermeability.Others classified as vitamin p are catechin, citrin, eriodictin, hesperetin, hesperidin, nobiletin, quercetin,sinensetin, and tangeretin.

Main Function
(1). With the strong function of anti-inflammation;
(2). With the maintenance of vascular resistance, reducing its permeability and brittleness;
(3). With the function of the anti-virus, on the
greatest inhibition of vesicular stomatitis virus.

Application
(1). Applied in food field, rutin commonly known as vitamin P, often used as a food additive;
(2). Applied in pharmaceutical field, to be used asdrugs additives to prevent cerebral hemorrhage, hypertension and retinal hemorrhage;
(3). Applied in cosmetic field, rutin has widely
use in cosmetics because of the anti-aging effect.
