Application: The softening point is a fundamental property of asphalt.
Parameters:
1.Measurment temperature accuracy: ±0.1°C
2.Automatically increase of temperature per minute: 5°C
3.Timer accuracy: 1S
4.Steel ball weight: 3.50±0.05g, diameter: 9.50mm
5.Tempurature display: 0.02°C
6.Water in the beaker is agitated by magnetic stirrer
7.The test is performed in duplicate under closely controlled conditions
8.Temperature control: Water is used as the bath medium for binders with softening points below 80°C. Above this temperature glycerol is used in place of water.
