The slag pot is an important equipment for steelmaking in metallurgical industry. It is a kind of bowl-shaped container with lifting trunnions on both sides. The slag pot is the place where the iron and slag are produced. Modern blast furnace tapping yard is equipped with mud gun (plugging machine) , tapping machine, swinging trough, crane, hot metal pot, slag pot and other equipment. The clay gun was originally pneumatic and later changed to electric. In the 1970s, hydraulic clay gun was used with small volume, large thrust, long service life and easy maintenance. Taphole machine has electric and pneumatic two kinds. The molten iron from the blast furnace flows into the ladle and is sent by train to the steel-making plant. The 150 ~ 600 ton hot metal ladle (torpedo mixer) is used in the blast furnace over 2000 meters, and 2 ~ 3 tins are produced every time.
