Solid CBN Inserts are made of cubic boron nitride micro powder under the process of super high temperature and high press. The pcbn material is the hardest known material second only to synthetic diamond. PCBN inserts are made of CBN super hard material, have perfect impact and abrasion resistance performance. Rough turning and dry cutting application. The hard turning processing is considered as a better alternative to the conventional grinding process due to the possibility of operating in a single step that provides a surface finish as compared to the super finishing achieved in grinding process.
