Detailed product Description

Thermowells are precise machined components, serving as protection for primary thermometers or temperature sensing elements, such as – Thermocouples, Resistance Thermometer Bulbs- Bimetallic Thermometers- Filled System Thermometers, ETC.

All thermocouple are machined with extreme care and accuracy to obtain uniformity of wall thickness and shape. The outer surfaces are smooth finished and polished to eliminate tool grooves which could become stress concentration lines, which is especially dangerous in Austenitic Steel. Every finished Thermowell is pressure tested to ensure soundness of metal structure.
