THS-515 Colloidal Silica is an alkaline, aqueous dispersion of colloidal silica with a silica (SiO2) content of approximately 13-15% by weight and an average particle size ranging from 3 to 5 nm. The silica dispersion is sodium stabilized, with a pH value ranging from 10.8 to 11.5. The physical appearance of THS-515 is a clear liquid, slightly more viscous than water.

Applications: THS-515 is a specialist product specifically designed for use where colloidal silica can function as a flocculant or retention aid. THS-515 helps improve the retention properties of pulp and facilitates the rapid removal of water in the papermaking process. Improved pulp retention enhances the strength of the final paper products, while enhanced drainage aids in increasing production efficiency. and exceptional cost-effectiveness for various applications. It is commonly used as a binder or surface modifier across a wide range of industries.
