Product Details

EVT 1 gang weatherproof box is used with receptacles, switches and GFCI’s in branch circuit wiring. This 1 gang outlet box can be also used as a weatherproof junction box. The outlet box is supplied with 2 closure plugs, 1 green grounding screw, 2 mounting lugs and 2 self-tapping screws.

Weatherproof box one gang has UL approval with certificate number E483162. One gang weatherproof box is fabricated according to UL 514A and CSA C22.2 NO.18.1-13, Standard for Safety for Metallic Outlet Boxes.

Weatherproof box 1 gang is in rugged aluminum alloy construction. The weatherproof box can be used in both wet and dry locations, due to its excellent powder coating.

Single gang weatherproof box will be in grey, unless any other color is specified. This single gang weatherproof box is in 2 inch deep with 18.3 cubic inch capacity.

Our former is Hangzhou Xinye Machinery Fittings Plant, which was founded in 2003. We served trade companies as a regular supplier of die cast fittings in its early years.

The company renamed as EVT with registered capital RMB20,000,000.00 in September 2006, when EVT started exporting its own products to oversea customers directly.

We got UL certificate in December 2010 for EMT Fittings, with UL file number E343475. Almost same time, EVT was qualified by ISO 9001:2008 quality management system.

We got CE certificate in June 2014 on Conduit Systems for Cable Management and Flexible Conduit Systems, passed tests according to IEC 61386-1:2008, BS EN 61386-21:2010 and BS EN 61386-23:2004. We got new UL certificates in December for Conduit Fittings, with UL file number E472251, E472810.

2015 & 2016 We got new UL certificates for EMT, EMT Elbows, IMC, Conduit Elbows, Conduit Couplings, Weatherproof Boxes, Conduit Bodies and Steel Boxes with UL file number E476069, E476073 and E483162.

EVT new products according to IEC 61386 were approved by SEC in Chile in 2019.

EVT moved into a modern factory building, which is over 30,000 square meters in 2020.

Now EVT is firmly committed to new product development and innovative solutions to production efficiency.
