EC21 Currently Most Active in Korea with Orders and Offers (1)

As I first exported to Kazakhstan early in 2000, I got to know the Korea International Trade Association (KITA), and also I got to know EC21 right away and now have been in good relationship with EC21 for nearly 20 years.
Our company is a trading company that exports and imports Aluminum Ingots, Copper Wire Scraps, Copper Sludge/Slag, Nickel Sludge/Slag, Cobalt Sludge, Gold Sludge and products.


[Reason for recommending to actively utilizing EC21]

Since I started trading, I have encountered many trading platforms at home and abroad.
I have registered my Selling Leads and Buying Leads on many sites, including overseas sites (A***, W***, Y***e, etc.) and domestic sites, including E***, G***, and B*** as well as EC21. Among overseas sites, Alibaba was most active with the Orders and Offers, and in the early days, they opened many services free of charge, but as time passed, they quickly shifted to paid services while gradually imposing service restrictions on existing members, making it difficult to maintain our account. We don't use it any more.
As for domestic sites, while experiencing all domestic sites for nearly 20 years, I have found that EC21 is the most active with Orders and Offers.
Unlike other domestic sites where I get Orders or Offers once or never a year, I have been getting Orders or Offers continuously through EC21. Therefore, I continue to use it up to now.
So, if you're to newly start trading now, I would gladly recommend to actively use EC21.


[Cases of successful transaction made through EC21]

Our company mainly imports metals and non-ferrous metals and exports recycled waste resources.
In early 2000, we, by chance, could export machines to Kazakhstan and China. This was our company's first export.
After that, we got to know EC21 and exported small machines to Ukraine, Belgium, Turkey, and the United States through EC21, and now we are getting orders of Ukrainian and Belgian buyers.

We have been doing business with these two buyers for more than 10 years. The amount of the order at a time is between $3,000 and $6,000, but the accumulated amount so far has exceeded $100,000, and most importantly, since meeting via EC21, we have been in a business relationship for over 10 years.

And we have imported non-ferrous metals from Indian and Vietnamese sellers, whom also we got to know through EC21.
We are reluctant to open the exact amount of imports from Indian and Vietnamese sellers, but we can just say that the cumulative amount of imports over the years is hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Currently, India and Vietnam are almost locked down due to COVID-19, so the transaction has been suspended, but if COVID-19 subsides, the transaction will resume.

In addition, I got to know a German buyer through EC21 and we had transaction only two times, but whenever coming to Korea, the buyer reaches to meet me and eats together to maintain the relationship. There is also an Australian buyer, who comes to Korea and always contacts to meet me.

In addition, since getting to know buyers from Thailand, Indonesia, Pakistan, Singapore, the UK, and Russia through EC21, I have been keeping a good relationship even though there has been no considerable transaction (because the mutual conditions were not right …).


[How to identify genuine buyers and genuine sellers]

The most difficult thing about electronic trade is how to distinguish between genuine and fraudulent buyers. Of course, the same goes for genuine and fraudulent sellers.
The answer is found by a lot of experiences.
