Cyber trade plays a major role in providing overseas marketing opportunities
There has been a steady increase in the number of successful cases of
cyber trade that engage in exports through finding buyers on the
Internet.
CITIEM, a trade enterprise that exports video tapes, audio tapes and
disposable medical equipment, has received increased number of
inquiries since it appeared on EC21''s Market Focus.
After appearing on the EC21 site the company concluded export
contracts totaling UDS 100 thousand to Saudi Arabia and the
Philippines. The company expects an annual export amount totaling USD
400~500 thousand hereafter.
According to Son Se-yun, president of CITIEM, "Today, cyber trade
plays a major role in providing overseas marketing opportunities,"
and emphasized, "With those opportunities at hand, whether a company
succeeds in achieving contracts is up to that company."
