SNGN series CBN solid inserts (abbreviated as CBN inserts) are square in shape . Under the action of high temperature and ultra-high pressure of the six-sided top hydraulic press, it is sintered and synthesized, which has strong wear resistance, heat resistance and chemical stability.

SNGN series CBN inserts have various specifications, common specifications are SNGN0903, SNGN0904, SNGN1204, SNGN1207, SNGN1507, SNGN2010, etc.

The standard cutting edges of SNGN series CBN inserts are T01020, T02020, S01020, S02020, S03025, S05020, etc. Other cutting edges can be customized.

The commonly used toolholders for SNGN solid CBN inserts include 45°, 75°, 83° and other cylindrical turning tool holders, and there are three types of L, R, and N. 75° toolholder CSRNR, front 75° tool holder CSKNR, middle tool holder CSDNN, 45° toolholder CSSNR, and 83° toolholder CSXNR commonly used for processing high manganese steel.

SNGN solid CBN inserts can efficiently turn various cast iron and hardened steel parts, and realize grinding instead of turning. It is often used for turning gray cast iron brake discs, gray iron brake drums, boron cast iron cylinder liners, cast iron clutches, cast iron pressure plates, gray cast iron flanges, air conditioner compressors and other typical cast iron parts, and is also commonly used for machining high hardness cast iron rolls and other parts.
