Silicon Nitride ( Si3N4) is a kind of important structural ceramic which has the characteristics of high hardness, self-lubrication and abrasion resistance .

Applications:

As a new technical material , silicon nitride powder can be widely used in many fields , such as in ceramic , refractory ,non-ferrous metal ,iron casting , rubber industry and so on .
1, In non-ferrous metal casting industry ,silicon nitride powder can be widely used because of its excellent corrosion resistance and self-inflation .
2, In iron casting industry
A The coating made by silicon nitride powder can solve the oxidation loss of the billet .
B The top hole clay . The top hole clay with silicon nitride powder has been made without water , would cover the inside of top hole and protect it against the attack of iron and slag.
C Used as nitrogen additives for hot rolled steel –making .
D Silicon nitride powder has widely application in new ceramic and compounded materials to improve the corrosion resistance , wear resistance and bending strength .
3, In mechanical industry
Silicon nitride powder can be used as the parts in projects of high temperature, senior refractory of metallurgical industry, anticorrosion parts and sealing parts in chemical industry and cutters in mechanical process industry.
