Some computer room and clean room have request of ventilation, it can use perforated panel to install directly instead of standard raised access floor, and construction is very convenient.

The basic size and configuration of perforated panel is same to steel access panel. Individually impact on bottom plate, face plate of floor board and covering material to satisfy the require of ventilation. Because the centre board is hollow and after impacted ventilation holes, its loading ability is also weakened. For empty body of perforated panel, add reticulated ribs to increase the strength. Steel perforated panel could use damper to control air flow and ventilation amount. The open ratio of perforated panel can be from 19% to 40%. And the grating panel's open ratio could reach 50%.

Some clean rooms have request of heavy duty perforated panels. The hand welded type can meet the request, the loading can reach 1000lb, 1250lb.

Some computer rooms and clean rooms have high request of ventilation, the grating panel can meet request. The open ratio can reach 65%.

The damper is used to adjust steel perforated panel air flow and ventilation amount.
