Q&A
1. Q : What are the features of the PURE™ series that make it different from other extraction products?A : Other products use pretreatment columns and require two types of spin columns, resulting in a long or complicated extraction process. In addition, some products use organic solvents such as phenol and chloroform. The PURE™ series developed by Infusion Tech does not use pretreatment columns and enables high-purity, high-concentration nucleic acid purification with a single spin column. The precipitation process using organic solvents is also not required, making it a quick and easy three-step process (lysis, wash, elute).
2. Q : What kind of samples can extraction be performed?
A : Viral RNA can be extracted from viral culture, plasma, serum, body fluids, and swabs. If the sample is very viscous, it is recommended to add 1X PBS or a small amount of Proteinase K before proceeding.
3. Q : The amount of extracted RNA seems too small to be quantified. Can I perform subsequent experiments?
A : Various subsequent experiments including RT-PCR, qRT-PCR and clinical research are available. If the amount of viral RNA is very small, concentration measurements may not be accurate. In this case PCR is recommended over quantitation for accurate results.
4. Q : Is carrier RNA included in the product?
A : This product does not contain carrier RNA, which helps viral RNA of higher purity to be extracted.
5. Q : Are the components of the PURE™ Viral RNA Extraction Kit sterile?
A : The components of the PURE™ Viral RNA Extraction Kit are sterile.
6. Q : Which buffers in the PURE™ Viral RNA Extraction Kit do I add ethanol to?
A : VRB buffer and Wash buffer should be used after adding ethanol. If you want to check for other components, please refer to the MSDS of the product.
7. Q : How is product quality control (QC) performed for the PURE™ Viral RNA Extraction Kit?
A : The QC of all products is performed by randomly selecting products of the same LOT after production and performing extraction using our standard sample. The test methods are quantification, electrophoresis, and PCR. Products are released if they meet our criteria.
8. Q : The filter was clogged while using it, why?
A : In the case of a clogged filter, the sample is presumably too viscous. We recommend adding a small amount of 1X PBS or Proteinase K and re-experimenting. If the volume of the sample is small, it is more likely that low concentrations will be extracted, so use a smaller amount of elution buffer.
9. Q : There are white powder on the wall of the spin column. Is there something wrong with the product?
A : The powder on the wall of the spin column is filter powder caused by static electricity during the manufacturing process. When the solution pass through the filter, the powder will be caught by the filter, and will not influence purity of the eluted RNA.
Introduction of manufacturer
Infusion Tech was founded on 2020. We have focused on developing nucleic acid preparation and molecular diagnosis PCR kits.
We have over 20 patents on novel nucleic acid extraction methods which we have integrated into our lysis buffers of some of our products.
We also have universal extraction kits using silica membrane technology. We have plenty experience performing extraction against various types of research and IVD use samples. Through our combined experience we were able to release high-quality research purpose kits.
Our biggest confidence is in our products quality. We perform extensive quality control, we make sure lot-to-lot variation is minimized.
Many users in Korea have recognized the stable quality of our kits and are changing from market leader kits to ours.
We exhibited our products at many prestigious international medical exhibitions including AACC, MEDICA and MEDLAB.
We welcome you to experience the high quality of our kits.
